What will the venue be like?

Answer

The Adamson House is a beautiful Mission-style building with surrounding gardens and lawns. The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will be outside on grass. We should get a nice breeze from the ocean since the property is on the water.

What are my transportation options for getting to and from the wedding venue?

Answer

There will be shuttles for out of town guests that pick-up at the Santa Monica Hilton (1707 4th St, Santa Monica, CA 90401). The shuttles will leave at 3:30pm on August 16th. Please let us know if you need a spot on the shuttle through the RSVP. If you miss the shuttle, please Uber to the parking lot address (23825 Stuart Ranch Rd, Malibu, CA 90265). The shuttles will be departing the Adamson House at around 10:30pm, and will be dropping guests off at two stops: 1) The afterparty location: Barney's Beanery Santa Monica (1351 3rd Street Promenade, Santa Monica, CA 90401) 2) Hilton Santa Monica (feel free to stay on the shuttle to get dropped off here if you are not attending the afterparty) Alternatively, guests can drive to the Adamson House. If you plan to drive, there will be a parking lot available at Malibu City Hall (23825 Stuart Ranch Rd, Malibu, CA 90265). Please let us know if you require a parking spot through the RSVP. You can also Uber to this parking lot. PLEASE NOTE: Per venue policy, you cannot Uber directly to the Adamson House. Sprinter vans from the parking lot to the venue will be provided to prevent guests from having to walk across the Pacific Coast Highway. Additional information on parking instructions and Ubering will be posted shortly.

If I'm driving (not taking the shuttle), where do I park?

The parking lot for the event is at Malibu City Hall (23825 Stuart Ranch Rd, Malibu, CA 90265). Please find some instructions for getting there below. We'll have shuttles running to/from the parking lot to the venue all night. If you don't see the shuttle when you arrive at the lot, it may be completing a trip with guests and will return shortly. FROM SANTA MONICA: Take Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) to Webb Way (about 13 miles). Turn right on Webb Way and proceed north. Webb Way turns into Stuart Ranch Road within one block. Continue north on Stuart Ranch Road and proceed to Malibu City Parking Lot (0.2 mile). Signs will direct you where to park. FROM VENTURA FREEWAY (San Fernando and Conejo Valleys): Take the Ventura Freeway (101) to the Las Virgenes Road off-ramp. Proceed south on Las Virgenes Road (aka Malibu Canyon) toward the beach. This winding canyon road will terminate at Pacific Coast Highway (10 miles). Turn left onto Pacific Coast Highway. Turn left on Webb Way and proceed north. Webb Way turns into Stuart Ranch Road within one block. Continue north on Stuart Ranch Road and proceed to Malibu City Parking Lot (0.2 mile). Signs will direct you where to park.
