There are moments in life that feel as though they were written long before we ever lived them, where heaven gently weaves two stories together and reveals that nothing was ever ordinary, but divinely orchestrated by God. This is a glimpse of our love story, a testimony of God’s faithfulness and how our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ has been writing every chapter of our lives with purpose, even in seasons we did not understand. Even in brokenness, God was near. “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” Psalm 34:18 What seemed like a simple decision, getting a dog, became a divine encounter. It led me to a daily routine at a dog park, where one day Daniela was sitting in what had become my spot. A simple conversation turned into something meaningful, something guided. I asked her on a date. We went salsa dancing. And from that moment, God began writing a new chapter in our lives. Daniela knew about my faith from the beginning. Soon after, she began attending church, gave her life to Christ, and we were later baptized together, stepping into a new life side by side. “He has made everything beautiful in its time.” Ecclesiastes 3:11 What once felt like loss became restoration. What felt empty became full of purpose. “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.” 2 Corinthians 5:17 Today we stand as two lives transformed, committed to God and His purpose for us. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart.” Proverbs 3:5–6 And we know with full confidence that the same God who brought our paths together is still leading us, still providing, and still writing a story far greater than we could have imagined.
