We both grew up in Athens Georgia. Home of the Georgia Bulldogs! Where we grew up on different sides city. Walter Northside/ Eastside, I grow up on the Westside/Uptown. Both of us had the same interests, basketball, dance, band, and a bright future. We both grew knowing a lot of the same people; however, we never cross paths. (That we can actually recall). We both went to rival high schools. Walter was a basketball star for Cedar Shoals High School. I was a dancer for Central High School. After high school, we both went to create our own lives. nothing from what we both image for ourselves. We both were very unhappy with our lives then. Until one day a Walter inbox me on Facebook messager complementing Me on my kids, and the conversation started from there and since that day we have been inseparable. Been able to have someone in your life that understands and loves you, for you, despite all of your flaws. is an amazing feeling, one that I would not ever want to lose. No, It is not easy but the strength we both carry and willingness to continue to grow with each other, in some most difficult times. Make life so much better. We both believe that God had us cross paths at that perfect time in our lives; where we both were ready and willing. God's timing is everything. the key is to always have faith and know he will never forsake you. No matter hard things get. We both live our life with God as the head and always live by what the bible says about love is 1 Corinthians 13;4-7
Chiquita and I were married on May 14, 2016, in Athens Georgia. We had a nice ceremony but both of us were unhappy with how it turned out. On that day we both agree that five years from then we would renew our vows and have a ceremony of our dreams. Then Covid19 hit, So we wait it out. But on our fifth year anniversary, I propose to my beautiful wife. I asked her to marry me again. She looked at me and laughed; of course, she had “completely forgotten about our agreement” (right) that we made to each other on our wedding night in 2016. She asked could we to postpone it to 10 years. I said no, why we will be 42 years old 10 years from now and that, she deserves the wedding of her dreams. so let’s do it next year. She agrees! We originally decided on the exact date we were married May 14, 2022, because it will be on a Saturday. Plus the venus that we thought we were going to it have at, was available for that date. Until we discover a new place which our anniversary date was already booked and decide to do it a week before our actual wedding anniversary on May 7, 2022, instead. I am so excited to be remarried/renewing my vows with my best friend, my right hand, my backbone, my bride Forever and always my wife Mrs. Chiquita C. Harris. I love you Mrs.Harris
