When should I RSVP?

Answer

Due to planning and letting our vendors know, we require that everyone RSVP by May 1, 2025. If you haven't RSVP'd by then, we are going to assume that you can't attend and we will absolutely miss you!!!

Do I get a plus one?

Answer

Due to venue and planning reasons, we ask that you do not bring a date if they are not listed on the invite.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We would love to see everyone in semi formal/dressy casual attire. If you wish to stay with our ideal “theme” then you can choose to follow our casual garden party theme! Examples: Men: button up shirt, dress pants, dress shoes or cowboy boots (if you prefer the Texas way) Women: long/short dress, heels or cowgirl boots (theme: flowy floral dress)

Will there be food?

Answer

Yes! Maudie's TexMex is catering for us! You will be well taken care of. Make sure that we know your genuine dietary restrictions!

Alcohol?

Answer

Our wedding will be dry, meaning that there will be zero alcohol on the entire property. We hope that everyone can have fun without it!

Is there transportation provided?

Answer

Unfortunately, we cannot provide transportation for each of our guests. Ride shares are widespread and very accessible within the area!

Is there a hotel block?

Answer

Unfortunately, we aren't able to provide a hotel block. There are many hotels and/or Airbnb's within the area!

What is the weather like at the Hummingbird House?

Answer

Because our wedding is in June in Texas, it will be hot and most likely humid. The ceremony will be outside, along with the cocktail hour so plan accordingly. The reception area is equipped with an ample amount of AC units to keep us cool while we're dancing and visiting!

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

While we love your little ones, if your kiddo's name(s) are not on the RSVP portion of the website when you enter your name, please plan for a sitter and a fun night out!

Do I have to buy our gift off your registry?

Answer

Absolutely not! We would love personalized gifts if that is more your speed. Any gift is such a blessing!
