New Orleans is easily one of our favorite cities. It is almost exactly halfway between our long distance relationship commute from Birmingham, AL to Houston, TX. It is also the location of many special moments in our relationship, including one of our very first dates at K-Paul's Louisiana Kitchen. A year and a half later, Walt was down on one knee in that same restaurant. It's safe to say I was in shock. After he reminded me to speak, I of course said, "YES," and we celebrated our engagement with a horse carriage ride around the heart of the city.

We will have an intimate destination ceremony held at the Eilean Donan Castle in Scotland. Just our immediate families will be present to send us off to our honeymoon as newlyweds!
