We're getting married!

Once upon a time, Jessica was completing her Masters in Animal Welfare at the University of Guelph and Mike was getting ready to move further than he had ever been from the farm to take a position as a Principal Investigator for Vaughan Agricultural Research Services near Kitchener. While fishing in a pond with Plenty of Fish they laid eyes on each other. One cloudy day in February 2016 the two met up at Second Cup and shared their passion and dreams over a cup of Joe. Saying an abrupt good bye due to a headache coming on Mike managed to step on Jessica's feet with his heavy work boots but was still able to secure another date. Their second date took them to Baker Street Cafe and then to a movie with a warning from Mike that he might need to hold Jessica's hand if it got too scary. Mike left behind Peanut MnMs from the movie in Jessica's car and the next day Jessica found herself eating these MnMs reflecting on what a cute gentleman had stumbled into her life. The two dated blissfully for just over a year before life presented Jessica with an amazing opportunity to move to Edmonton to work as an Animal Welfare Specialist for the Government of Alberta. Although neither was overly excited to do long distance they decided they had too good of a thing and were sooo in LOVE not to try. Two years of Mike flying against the snow birds to live in -40 weather for the winter allowed for many adventures exploring beautiful Alberta and getting to know the people Jessica had come to love out there. Time apart started to feel longer and longer and eventually Jessica felt her heart strings pulling her back to Ontario closer to not only the love of her life but her incredible family. So they packed up the rabbits into the Rav4 and started the Cross Canada Crop Tour in September 2019. On June 28th 2020 Mike got down on one knee on the Niagara escarpment and the two decided on FOREVER. Their Happily Ever After is about to begin and they are so excited to share that with you.
