We met through mutual friends while at Catholic University. Victoria was a senior, and Jake was working on campus post-grad. There were a few almost-encounters along the way, but it wasn’t until 2021, after a fun night out with friends, that we finally went on our first date. From adventures in Washington, D.C., to long-distance love, and now building a life together in New Jersey, we’re so excited to begin this next chapter as husband and wife!

Jake proposed on his 28th birthday while we were fishing at the lake in Spring Lake. He had hidden the ring in his tackle box, safely kept inside a wooden box he made himself. God held back the rain just long enough for Jake to pop the question. After Victoria said 'YES', the skies opened up and we celebrated with family and friends. It was truly the BEST day!!
