We’re getting married!

Ryan & I crossed paths for the first time on New Years Eve in 2021. After a long game of “Zoomie, Zoomie” & only choosing Ryan’s number when it was my turn, it was evident that I had a thing for him. Just a few short months later, our paths crossed again when we ran into each other at a friends graduation party. This time, Ryan didn’t miss the opportunity to ask me for my number & subsequently, a first date. The rest is history.

Leading up to the proposal, I wanted to throw Alison off completely but also be at a spot that was meaningful to the both of us. The proposal took place at the lakefront, which became a favorite summertime spot for us. Here, we celebrated many special occasions such as birthdays, work milestones, & many Friday night dates. This was also the spot I had asked Alison to be my girlfriend. I had always told her that I would never, under any circumstances, propose in a public setting that would draw a bunch of attention such as our lake spot. This along with my 30th birthday being a few days after was the perfect combination to throw her off. She was completely shocked by the proposal and I found out the next day why she was so speechless, she in turn was surprising me with a 30th birthday party! A weekend filled with love and spontaneity to celebrate the two of us.
