Peter and I both attended a three day camp before our first semester at UTC. The camp advisors created icebreaker questions for us to answer among one another, though we were chosen at random. Long story short, Peter was the last person I had been paired with with our icebreaker question being, "How long would it take you to fart in front of your significant other?" To break the silly and awkward quiet after responding, I had mentioned to him it was my 18th birthday. With this being said, Peter ran up to the front where the advisor was standing, I saw him point at me, and he had the entire room of people sing happy birthday to me! We became friends at camp and traded numbers before heading back to our parents' house. He found out that I paint and begged me to make him an original. After settling in our dorms we reconnected through the painting I delivered. We spent almost every night together playing sand volleyball, singing karaoke, and making blanket forts in his dorm living room. He taught me how to have fun and I taught him how to do laundry. Our friendship blossomed into something more, though he did not make our relationship official until we met each others' family. We officially became a couple exactly one year after our meeting date, my 19th birthday!
