Now a lawyer in New York City and just across the river in New Jersey, she’s never far — making her presence by Maggie’s side on this day especially meaningful.

Tyler has been Maggie’s chosen family since they met during NYU Shanghai’s admitted students weekend in 2013. From becoming roommates to traveling the world together, their friendship has been built on adventure, loyalty, and an endless supply of shared stories. These days, they both call the Upper West Side home, where their bond continues over marathon Survivor seasons and unapologetic reality TV binges. Maggie couldn’t imagine standing at the altar without her best friend by her side.
