Oak Brook Mall
Only a 5-minute Uber ride away. Melissa and Richard had their first dinner date here at Wildfire (their food is amazing, particularly the filet mignon). Other restaurant recommendations include Seasons 52 (constantly rotating menu variety of seasonal dishes), Mon Ami Gabi (tasty French cuisine), and Maggiano's (Italian - they have a wonderful saltimbocca). Also, if you are there in the morning check out Stan's Donuts up on the second level by Nordstrom's (unbelievably good!). The shopping experience here is also fantastic with a wide variety of department stores, upscale designer stores, and a Tesla showroom.
Central Park Disc Golf Course
This 9-hole disc golf course (Richard-approved, of course) is within walking distance from the Hyatt Lodge, tucked in to a park located just on the other side of Jorie Blvd. Good venue for both beginners and enthusiasts seeking a quick round with both open and wooded holes, well maintained fairways, and scenic views. Currently it is the #18 ranked 9-hole disc golf course in the world (https://www.dgcoursereview.com/top_ranked.php).

The Windy City is a 20-mile drive from the Hyatt Lodge. It is home to endless fun activities including shopping on Michigan Ave, Millenium Park, Navy Pier, Lagunitas Brewpub, and countless good eats!
Morton Arboretum Visitor Center
Gorgeous public gardens, outdoor museum, public library, and herbarium. Walking through here is just beautiful and there is a little whimsy along the way.
Drury Lane Theatre
Enjoy a Broadway show, local production, or a concert (book ahead online to reserve tickets).
