Demi and Maria met during orientation at the University of North Texas, and from that moment, they were inseparable. As luck would have it, they lived in the same area and decided to commute to campus rather than live in a dorm their freshman year. The commute was no small feat—an hour each way—so they decided to carpool. Somewhere between the shared drives, endless conversations, and plenty of laughs, a strong and lasting friendship was formed.

Ryan and Jay have always been close their entire lives. Early in life, Ryan was the older brother Jay looked up to, eager to hang out with him and learn about what he enjoyed. That hasn't changed with age. Whether it be hour-long conversations about movies or multiple-day board game excursions, it's always been easy for them to keep each other in their lives. Ryan's not just a brother, but a lifelong friend to Jay with whom he is excited to share this special day.

Carrie is Jay's sister by blood, but soon, she will be Maria’s sister by marriage. Though their friendship is still new, Carrie has welcomed Maria with warmth, kindness, and genuine acceptance, making her feel like a part of the family from the very start. She’s thrilled to not only gain a sister she’s never had but also to share a lifetime of new memories with someone who already feels like family.

Drew and Jay have been friends since they were filming their own slam dunk content on a UT mini basketball hoop in Jay's childhood room. Drew and Jay attended the same church as children and also went to school together. They also lived a bike ride away from each other growing up, making it easy to create 1-on-1 basketball seasons or countless nights playing FIFA 2002. As adults, life brought them back to Dallas, allowing them to go to Mavs games and have double-date nights, continuing to build on their lasting friendship.

Carlos and Maria found each other through a shared experience so unique, it’s hard to imagine anyone else going through the same thing; an unexpected beginning to what became a lasting friendship. Looking back, it feels like fate placed them in each other’s lives at just the right moment. The support they offered each other in that challenging time became the foundation for a connection that has only deepened and strengthened over the years.

Christian and Jay met through church and family friends, but quickly discovered they had a lot in common that allowed their connection to last into adulthood. These two first bonded when they were drum majors in marching band. With age, they continued to grow together through deep conversations about their Christian faith, the highs and lows of life, and the card games they most recently played. Even though Jay still dreams of beating Christian at ping pong, he's glad to have him by his side on this important day.

Vanessa and Maria share a passion for their careers in media, a connection that began at the very start of their journeys—college. They grew together. In and out of the classroom, on and off camera, and behind the karaoke mic, these two have always made it fun. They celebrate each other’s big wins and offer support through the tough losses. There’s something about sharing the highs and lows of work stress that creates a bond like no other.

Adam and Jay met at Mizzou and joined the BYX Christian fraternity. These two both took on leadership roles at the same time while a part of BYX, allowing them to grow their friendship through sarcasm and board games outside the classroom. Adam and Jay lived together their senior year of college and started going on annual road trips with four other guys from Mizzou. While Adam and Jay live in different states, their friendship has remained strong through the years.

It all began with a restaurant job in their early 20s, but it quickly grew into a connection that carried Lena and Maria through five more workplaces together. But the true heart of their bond wasn’t just in the office—it was in the moments beyond it. They get along so well that a simple lunch date often turns into an unexpected, full-day adventure. Their friendship blossomed into something far deeper than just coworkers.

Kevin and Jay also met while at Mizzou and were in BYX together. While living together for two years in college, these two bonded the most while snowed in from school (multiple times) and having long conversations about the most talked-about issues of the day. Kevin has also been a part of the annual road trips with Adam and Jay. Whether it be a quick message on social media or text during a Mizzou game, these two always find a reason to stay in touch.
