The Wedding Website of Erica Walling and Marc Greenfield
Question

When should I come up to Hudson?

Answer

We are hosting welcome drinks Thursday, October 15th for anyone who is in Hudson a night early and would love to see you there!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Formal dress code. Suits, dresses but no need to wear a tux!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! The Basilica has an entire parking lot right out front and to the side you can park in! For those planning to stay late for the afterparty - we will have a car service to take you home after the festivities are over!

Question

Questions about transportation?

Answer

More details about transportation to and from where you are staying to come! If you live near/around NYC and don't want to drive, you can take the Amtrak train from Penn Station up to Hudson (the venue is just a few steps away from the train!) More information about the Amtrak line here: https://www.amtrak.com/empire-service-train If you are flying in for the wedding and don't want to rent a car, we recommend flying in to Newark, taking the direct line from Newark to Penn Station, and then taking the above Amtrak option! (Flying into LGA or JFK works as well, you will just have to take a bus/train combo to get to Penn) If you have any questions about transportation feel free to reach out to us!

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

Formal invitations will be sent out soon, and there will be an option on those to RSVP on! For now, just save the date!

Question

Should I prepare to be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

While (weather permitting) the cocktail hour might have an open courtyard option, the ceremony and reception will both be inside! The Basilica has industry-grade ACs so you shouldn't have to worry about being hot (except when you're on the dance floor busting a move!)

Question

What day/time should I arrive!?

Answer

Take it easy, we have you covered; check out the "Schedule" tab above to see the full itinerary for the weekend! TLDR; If you can, come up Thursday and join us for our welcome drinks in town! If you can't. no worries! Come on up Friday for the ceremony, reception and dancing bananza!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

When you receive your formal invitation, if it says "and guest" feel free to bring someone special to join you in our celebration!

Question

Will there be food for various dietary restrictions?

Answer

As Erica and I both have the combined-world's-worst digestive systems, yes! There will be options for anyone who is gluten free, vegan, vegetarian, no-dairy, etc! When you RSVP you can let us know your dietary restrictions and we will make sure the chef and team are aware!

Question

Anything else we need to know?

Answer

The Basilica does not have a curfew so just make sure to bring some flexible pants for the late-night food cart, a neat pair of dancing shoes (or just prep your feet). and of course, a smile : )
