Is there a dress code?

Answer

While there is no formal dress code, we would love to see our friends and family get dressed up with us, please no jeans! This will be an outdoor event in August, so we understand it will be warm; therefore, once all pictures have been taken and we are ready to party, feel free to change into something more casual.

Can I bring my children?

Answer

We love all of our friend's and family's children; however, we encourage you to use this evening to have a fun date night. We want all of our friends and family to enjoy this night with us and have a stress free time. Of course those of you have been told otherwise are the exception. :)

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We would really like for our wedding to be an intimate event; therefore, we have taken a lot of time to think about the guest list and have tried to cater it to everyone's needs and wants. Those who have been given a plus one will be specifically indicated on your envelope. For example, if you have a plus one, your address will be listed as "Mr./Miss XYZ and guest". If you are confused, when you RSVP and type in your name, you will see if you have a plus one. We want everyone to share in the celebration and this will ensure that we are surrounded by our close friends and family. We hope you understand.

What time should we arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 5:00 PM EST. We ask that you arrive NO LATER than 15-20 minutes before the start of the ceremony.

Can I take pictures throughout the ceremony/reception?

Answer

In order to ensure that we are all fully present, we will be having an "unplugged" ceremony. We request that you turn off/silence all phones during the ceremony. We have hired an amazing photographer to capture this special moment and we would be happy to send you any pictures upon request! During the reception, please feel free to take as many photos as you would like.

What's the bar situation?

Answer

We will be having an open bar with a lovely bartender named Cassie. Cassie will be serving 2 cocktails (his and her cocktails are TBD) along with beer and wine. Please keep in mind to tip your bartender throughout the night if you choose to partake. We will also be having multiple non-alcoholic options including water, sweet tea and lemonade.
