We suggest flying into one of these nearby airports: - Bangor Airport (1hr drive) - Portland Jetport (3hr drive) - Boston Logan Airport (5hr drive) - Bar Harbor Airport (20min drive) Maine weather can be fickle and it often affects flights so we would suggest coming in Wednesday if possible.

Transportation

While we suggest renting a car and driving from one of the airports above, it is also possible to take a taxi from the Bangor Airport to Bar Harbor. Many taxi companies will allow passengers to book a ride in advance which we suggest. We recommend renting a car during your trip so you can easily explore Acadia National Park and Mount Desert Island.

Harborside Hotel, Spa & Marina

This is next door to and affiliated with our wedding venue. Walkable to restaurants, bars and shopping. It is strongly recommended to book sooner rather than later as once they get closer to the peak season rates due tend to increase and they tend to sell out quite often. Please keep in mind that the Harborside Hotel will close for the season the Sunday after Thanksgiving. If you try to call the hotels during the winter it will transfer to the main reservations line, which is not located on property.
