How We Met

Wings Of Love

It all started at the most romantic place ever- Buffalo Wild Wings. In late 2014, Sarah was shy, quiet and newly hired on as a server at Buffalo Wild Wings. She soon met David, the outgoing, charismatic, jokester at work. They were instantly drawn to each other. After some time getting to know each other, the two officially started dating on March 20th, 2015. They have been inseparable since. The past six years has been filled with a whole lot of laughter, joy, and love. There's been music festivals, concerts, hiking, camping, traveling, spending time with family and friends, and far too many reality shows. Every day is an adventure.

The Proposal

She Said Oui

In July of 2019 Sarah and David embarked on their greatest adventure so far. The two traveled to Paris, Bruges, Brussels, and Amsterdam. Unknowingly to Sarah, David had a proposal planned for the one place Sarah had always wanted to visit. On their second day in Paris, after a morning filled with sightseeing, David had planned a sunset boat cruise on the Seine river. While riding Birds (motorized scooters) to the boat dock, the two stopped to take a picture at the Pont de Bir-Hakeim, a bridge that faces the Eiffel Tower. It was then when they posed for a picture that David dropped to one knee and asked Sarah to marry him. Overwhelmed with joy, she immediately cried... (a lot). In shock, she actually said "stop", and then she finally said, "YES!". The rest of the night, the two enjoyed dinner and watching the sunset aboard a boat on the river, saw the Eiffel Tower sparkle on the hour, rode scooters back to the hotel room, and then ended the night watching Netflix. It was an evening to remember. The newly engaged couple continued on to enjoy their life changing, two week trip exploring Europe.

It's Official

First Comes Love, Then Comes Marriage

On November 07, 2020 David and Sarah officially wed in an intimate backyard wedding. Almost a year prior, the couple committed to marrying each other on this date. Despite Covid-19 closures leading to the postponing of original wedding plans, their commitment to each other was upheld. November 07, 2020 was their day. Although Sarah and David legally married this past November, they couldn't just forget about those original wedding plans. The idea of moving forward without a proper celebration with ALL of their friends and family just didn't sit right. The two look forward to May 29th, 2021, a day in which we can not only celebrate the love between Mr. & Mrs. Cook, but a day to rejoice in the gathering of friends and family. Let's Party!
