Matron of Honor
I have known Joanna (and some other lovely ladies on here) since I was 4! Joanna has been by my side through EVERYTHING- most importantly HAF nights in the city. Always cheering me on and constantly smiling, Joanna is a ray of sunshine in my life and everyone that she knows. I am so excited to be wedding planning with her at the same time as she embarks on this new stage of life as well! Yay 2020/2021 Corona Brides!

Caroline is another lucky lady who has known me since I was 4! I cannot believe she has been in my life for over 3 decades!!! Though she lives in DC and is constantly trying to get me to move back, our constant wellness check-ins on each other provide the perfect reminders that distance means nothing when you have history and sisterhood.

We met on an ad-...for a job posting! I was fortunate enough to come across Sarah's stellar resume when we were expanding our department at the Historical Society of Pennsylvania. Her enthusiasm for the arts, culture, and life captured my attention immediately and I knew she would be a perfect addition to our team and ultimately my life. So happy we were stuck working in a closet-sized office together and remained just as close today as we did when we worked side by side... literally.

Cuz! Kim is my closest family member in age and friendship. So honored to have been able to be a part of her union a few years back to her wonderful husband ( I set them up, subtle brag). From being "forced" to perform karate and play the violin at family reunions together to fun nights in Philly post-college years, Kim has always been down to try new things, meet new people and try new places- within reason of course :)

Meesh!!! Ah where do I begin? Michelle was one of my first friends in college, literally met within the first week of arriving at FAMU (because we placed out of basic freshman classes- nerd alert!). Ever since then we were inseparable. From eating in the Caf together to going to let-outs, to singing to our heart's content in dorm rooms Michelle has seen EVERY side of me. We have been fortunate to vacation together through the years and continue our growing and unique bond even though she lives in the Virgin Islands! So happy to have her by my side on our special day as she has always been through my adult years.

Cubby buddies! Erica was my FIRST friend at school. She is the third in my trio of lifelong friends that I have known since I was 4 years old. Staying friends throughout the years is one thing, but staying close to someone when distance is involved is another. Living in Boston now, a boss lady, a wife, and a mother to a beautiful little girl, Erica is the definition of " calm cool, and collected." So happy to have her come to Philly once a year for Thanksgiving but seeing her multiple times this year will be an extra treat :)
Best Man
“A brother is a friend given by nature”. There are not enough words to describe Drew. Like most siblings we fought when we were younger. Due to my size I generally had the upper hand. Drew being the highly intelligent creative thinker learned how to get me in trouble before I could use my size. As we got older the fighting stopped and the love and respect grew. I couldn’t imagine this day without him by my side

I met Seth when our friends started dating in college. Fast forward a few years and we were roommates living in Manayunk. From Egg sandwich’s to Call Of Duty, Eagles Games and a Phillies World Series parade we saw many things. Though our time in college and as roommates post college has passed the memories always put a smile on my face. I am truly blessed to have him with me as another milestone is created

I also met Pat when our friends started dating because Pat and Seth were roommates. It’s funny how like minded people can be drawn together through events outside of their control. Pat is the first person to make me eat sushi, Korean BBQ and countless others. Our shared love of food, movies, stand up comedy and books have always been the anchor’s in our friendship. With Pat the laughing never stops

As a wide eyed bushy tailed 18 year old Freshman at PITT, Ricky was the very first person that I met. As a fellow Philly sports fan we connected immediately. Countless hours playing madden, arguing basketball stats, watching Chappelle’s Show our time in college flew by. Though we don’t live in the same building anymore, every time we see each other it’s like we are 18 again.

Lu was the first non Philadelphia friend that I made at PITT. Living on the same floor we instantly hit it off. He showed me the City of Pittsburgh. Cracking jokes, arguing sports and late diner runs to JoJo’s became frequent. We were fortunate to travel together and through the years have continued to grow our bond even though he is a Steelers fan :)

From dropping water balloons on unsuspecting classmates below, to trying to teach me how to ride a motorcycle, to holiday weekend bbq’s, this friendship has spanned two decades. Those who know my love of Fishtown have Tan to thank. Whether its distance 8000 miles or next door neighbors it’s nothing but love!
