When visiting Woodward Park, Walkyhr and Caulen enjoy strolling through Shinzen Japanese Garden to view the whimsical bonzai trees, watch the the koi fish swim, and relax on the benches overlooking the ponds. Pricing $$ The Fresno Chafee Zoo is a must-see! Lions, tigers and elephants oh my! Explore the Ajabu Reserve to visit the watering hole and learn firsthand about animals from Africa. There is where you can find white rhinos, african elephants, lions and cheetahs. Also, don't miss the chance to feed the giraffes! Walkyhr and Caulen recommend purchasing tickets online in-advance of your visit to avoid the long ticket lines. Animals are most active at the beginning and end of day. Typically set aside 4-5 hours to enjoy the entirety of the park. Pack water and snacks in a backpack to fuel your visit. Leave room for a small bite to eat and grab some electrolytes to recharge as you enjoy the views of the watering hole at the cafe in Ajabu Reserve.
