Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our wedding will be black-tie optional. Tis the season for dressing up and looking good! Tuxes and formal suits for men and long dresses or gowns for women. For any curious ladies, the bridesmaids are wearing olive green!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will start at 3pm. We kindly ask guests to arrive by 2:45 to allow time for everyone to take their seats.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

The Crystal Tea Room has a parking garage available at the ground level of The Wanamaker Building. The garage is located adjacent to St. John the Evangelist Church where our ceremony will be held and around the corner from the Loews Hotel. The garage is open 24/7 which makes it the preferred option to park for our ceremony, reception, and guests staying in our hotel block. There is also the Midtown Parking Garage located at 1415 Sansom Street, which is about a five minute walk to the church and venue. Guests who are staying with us at the Loews will also be able to park using their valet service if preferred.

While we love your little ones, this will be an adults only occasion.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate a plus one for every guest. Your invitation will state "and guest" or your date's name to indicate they are included in our special day.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have reserved a block of rooms at the Loews Hotel in Center City, about a two minute walk from St. John the Evangelist and Crystal Tea! The Loews offers valet parking for its guests. Please navigate to the Travel section of our website for more details.
