Is there a dress code?

Our wedding will be black-tie optional. Tis the season for dressing up and looking good! Tuxes and formal suits for men and long gowns for women.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will start at 3pm. We kindly ask guests to arrive by 2:45 to allow time for everyone to take their seats.

Are kids welcome?

While we love your little ones, this will be an adults only occasion.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate a plus one for every guest. Your invitation will state "and guest" or your date's name to indicate they are included in our special day.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have reserved a block of rooms at the Loews Hotel in Center City, about a two minute walk from St. John the Evangelist and Crystal Tea! The Loews offers valet parking for its guests.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

The Crystal Tea Room has a parking garage available for use. The Wanamaker Parking Garage is located adjacent to the Wanamaker Building. There is also the Midtown Parking Garage located at 1415 Sansom Street, which is about a five minute walk to the church and venue.
