My name is Trish and I am so elated and honored to be Samantha’s Matron of honor! I’ve known Sam for close to 30 years now, and as friends turned family that have grown up together, I am so excited to witness her embark on this journey into her marriage, and even more excited to have a new cousin in Jonathan. Sam and I share so many memories together, from dance school, to summer camps, family gatherings, going off to college, to becoming adults traveling the world, attending concerts and shows, and even a good turn up every now and then. We are truly inseparable, forever stuck together, and I wouldn’t have it any other way! Sam was my maid of honor, and I am so thrilled and honored to be able to return the favor. I am so blessed to call her my friend/cousin/sister and thankful to have her always by my side! Jonathan is an amazing man, the perfect fit for Sam as the calm to her storm, and I’m immensely happy for you both. Love you guys, Cheers to the Walkers!

I met Sam at a very early age, at Hiawassee Elementary in Orlando, Florida. We quickly became friends and have stayed friends throughout the years. Having a shared Jamaican heritage definitely helped to make us thick as thieves. As we got older, we attended different schools and I moved out of state, but despite the distance and the time apart, every time we link up, it’s like we haven’t missed a beat. It’s rare to have childhood friends that you still share a deep connection with into adulthood. I count it as a blessing to have Sam in my life. Sam served as my Maid of Honor when I married in 2021 and she also serves as God mom to my first born, Tre. I am excited for the opportunity to celebrate her and usher her into a new stage of life. She’s truly amazing and I pray she’ll have a beautiful, joyful, and long lasting marriage with Jonathan.

My name is Briana and I am honored to be Sam’s Maid of Honor. Sam and I have known each other for nearly 15 years. It all started at The University of South Florida where Sam and I become line sisters making us sisters for a lifetime through the illustrious Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Since 2010, I have called Sam my friend and sister. In addition to those titles, calling her my travel buddy has probably been one of my favorites! El Salvador, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Colombia, Vegas, Chicago, New Orleans, and the list goes on. No matter the destination, we take the journey. I am so happy to be part of this journey to witness a beautiful matrimony and welcome Jonathan to the family!

Over the years, we've shared countless memories, from fun trips together to deep, meaningful conversations that have only strengthened our bond. Sam is more than just a friend to me—she’s my personal nurse , always there for me and my family, and saves me a lot of doctor tabs lol! I’m incredibly grateful for her support and love, and I couldn’t be more excited to witness the next chapter in her life as she walks down the aisle to marry the love of her life.
