Question

Can we bring the kids? Can we bring the kids?

Answer

Our wedding is an adult-only (16+) event. While we recognize the significance of this decision, and that it may affect our guest's ability to spend the day with us, we have decided for both safety and financial reasons to make this a 16+ event. Our venue is on an active farm, meaning there are quite a few big animals, a lake, and a nearby road. We know little ones are easily bored and wander. We encourage you to consider this event as a "date night" and get a babysitter so you can more fully enjoy the party.

Question

Is there a dress code?Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cowboy Cocktail (but we encourage you to try your best to outdress the Bride and Groom!) Think Cocktail with western flair ( but save the blue jeans for another event). The wedding party will have strong western/southwestern tones, so we support all the Western aesthetic! Feel free to match the color scheme of Burgundy, Black, and Turquoise with hints of orange. This will be an indoor/outdoor wedding, but on fully paved ground so feel free to wear those new kicks that you've been dying to try!

Question

Where's the best place to stay in the area?Where's the best place to stay in the area?

Answer

While there may be some accommodations in Wartrace, they are limited, and we highly recommend booking in the Murfreesboro area (approx. 26 minutes away from the venue). Murfreesboro is a large suburban city with every kind of hotel chain, food, and shopping opportunity one might need.

Question

Can I bring a date?Can I bring a date?

Answer

Sorry, no Plus-Ones - attendance is strictly capped! To account for seating and food, we request that you do not attend the wedding with any individuals who are not included as selections on your online RSVP - If you have any questions regarding a plus one, please reach out to the bride and groom prior to the RSVP deadline to see if there are any possible accommodations for additional attendees.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony? Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

Our Ceremony will be unplugged. We respectfully ask that you do NOT take pictures during the ceremony (although we encourage you to take as many as you like during the reception). We are employing the expensive expertise of a veteran wedding photographer, and we would love to allow you the opportunity of simply experiencing the ceremony while leaving your phone tucked away (we promise the ceremony will be brief!)

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony? What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony begins at 5:30 p.m. We request that you arrive roughly 10 minutes before the ceremony, allowing you time to park, get seated and settled.

Question

Will there be food? What about food allergies? Will there be food? What about food allergies?

Answer

Cocktail hour and dinner will be served (Gluten Free)! ALL food served at the event will be GLUTEN-FREE as the bride has food allergies, and food will be served buffet style (pick and choose what you want!). If you have a notable dietary concern (ex: issues with dairy), PLEASE let us know and we will do our best to make accommodations!
