As sisters, Sloane and Mikayla are and will always be each others' right hand. As they both grew up and entered into adulthood, their relationship evolved from not just being sisters but truly being friends. No matter what each of them go through, they know they will always be there for each other. As Justin's big brother, Alan has always had his back. Growing up, Alan was a not only a role model for Justin, but a great friend that introduced him to so many fun extracurriculars and activities; many that he still enjoys. Amy and Mikayla have been friends since 2010, when they both joined the Junior Varsity Soccer team at Severn School their freshmen year. Placed in the same advisory (aka homeroom) for Severn as well, they became fast friends and have been close ever since. Mikayla is ecstatic that Amy will share her beautiful smile with her as a bridesmaid! Thanks Amy!

Jordan and Justin have been friends since middle school, making him one of Justin's longest friends! No matter where life took them, Jordan and Justin stayed close and when they get together, it is like nothing has changed. Jordan is so excited to stand up and celebrate Justin at his wedding. Elyssa and Mikayla met at The George Washington University (GWU) but became close after graduation. They enjoyed weekly calls that kept them grounded and connected, especially during the pandemic. Elyssa has been Mikayla's wedding planning buddy as Mikayla will walk down the aisle as Elyssa's bridesmaid just 5 weeks before Mikayla's wedding! Congrats Elyssa!
Tay Davis

Tay and Justin met when Tay joined Alpha Kappa Psi (AKPsi), a business fraternity at GWU, where Justin was also a member. They developed a fast friendship and Justin later became Tay's Big in the fraternity. Now officially AKPsi family they continue to be a part of each other's lives well past graduation. Tay is extremely excited to be a part of Justin's big day and Justin is so grateful for her participation. Thanks Tay!
Meghan Gall

Meghan and Mikayla met at GWU in Symphonic Band, but after both living on the Mount Vernon Campus (the Vern), joining Flute Choir, and becoming Resident Advisors, they grew extremely close. Both Meghan and Mikayla can't help but laugh at how similar their lives are to each other - even Justin notices it! So of course, it is no surprise that Mikayla wanted Meghan by her side. David and Justin met through their fiancés, but they quickly developed their own friendship! Living just a 15-minute walk away from each other, they love to connect and explore DC together. From their love of jazz, movies, and cooking, David and Justin rapidly became friends and are excited to be a part of each others' weddings! Congrats David!

Lexi and Mikayla have been best friends since freshmen year at Severn School. They both went to GWU, both lived on the Vern, both majored in Public Health, and both continued to live in Washington, DC after college. One can say they have some similarities (haha!), but either way, Mikayla is thrilled to have Lexi by her side as a bridesmaid. Thanks Lexi!

Aidan and Justin met in high school and have been friends ever since. They both share a love of live jazz and like to frequent different jazz clubs in DC. Aidan has always been so thoughtful and kind. There isn't a busy tax season that Aidan misses: he always sends Justin a little gift or treats him to a surprise to congratulate him on a job well done. He's always thinking of others and Justin truly values his friendship. Thanks Aidan!

Cameron and Mikayla met the summer before college started at Colonial Inauguration (student orientation). Once we realized we both loved to sing, the rest was history! From The Voice Gospel Choir, to school theatre, and everything in between, Cameron and Mikayla have been each others biggest cheerleaders! It's a no-brainer that Cameron had to be a part of Mikayla's wedding. Thanks Cameron!

Parth and Justin met at GWU when Justin was his Teaching Assistant for the First Year Business Development Program. Shortly thereafter, Parth joined the same business fraternity as Justin, Alpha Kappa Psi, and the rest was history! Parth is excited to support Justin on his special day, just as Justin is excited to celebrate Parth as he gets married later in 2024. Congrats Parth!

Natalie and Mikayla met in The Voice Gospel Choir at GWU and have been the best of friends ever since! They are always ready for a new adventure together whether it be dancing through the streets of Philadelphia or going to see Hillary Clinton on her book tour. Natalie is super excited to stand beside Mikayla on her wedding day, especially as she begins planning her own wedding now that she is newly engaged! Congrats Natalie!

Claudia and Mikayla met in Symphonic Band at GWU. They became really close as they both played flute and shared music stands in band and in Flute Choir. Claudia was actually the FIRST person Mikayla told about her crush on Justin! Seven years later, Mikayla is grateful for Claudia's encouragement to go for it - she's so glad she did! Thanks Claudia!

As Mikayla’s cousin, Logan has always been one of her biggest supporters. Mikayla remembers when Logan was just a toddler and easy to pick up, and now he’s almost as tall as her, if not taller! Logan will be a teenager this year, and is ready to take on new responsibilities. Mikayla is so grateful to have him be an usher for her wedding. Thanks Logan!

As Justin’s cousin, Jaleelah and Justin have been close since they were kids. Now, Justin is amazed about all the great things Jaleelah has done in her career, especially at the Kennedy Center! Justin pokes fun at Jaleelah from time to time for losing his favorite ring at the pool many years ago but he’ll be getting a better replacement soon, so he’s willing to let it go (haha). Molly is the true star of this entire event. Since 8 weeks old, she has been a proud member of the Walker Family. She began staying with Mikayla in 2017 while in college and since then they have been inseparable. Molly and Justin have a beautiful bond as well, since Molly has been in Justin's life as soon as he and Mikayla started dating. Molly is such an integral part of Mikayla and Justin's relationship and they cannot wait to have her take center stage at the ceremony. Love you Molly!
