Falling in Love. It all began on a High School basketball court. Walker was the team’s starting player, while Lea was the school’s sports photographer. Somewhere between the final buzzer and an ungraceful mid-court collision, their story quite literally began with a fall. It wasn’t exactly cinematic... no slow motion, no exciting music... just two teenagers, tangled up and laughing, apologizing between smiles. But that fleeting, awkward moment, sparked something that neither of them forgot. A year later, that spark turned into something real. They started out long distance with late night calls, weekend drives, and lots of missing each other, until Texas A&M finally brought them back together. From Aggie game days and late night library hangs to formal dances and pickup basketball games, college became the backdrop for their favorite memories and everyday magic. All those memories and milestones led them to December 17th, 2024: The day Walker proposed. Under a golden ginkgo tree in the Austin Botanical Gardens, surrounded by leaves that shimmered like sunlight, he asked to spend forever together. The ring, a treasured heirloom from his grandmother, acts now as a daily reminder of love, loyalty, and honor. Walker and Lea can’t wait to see where life takes them next, the adventures they’ll find, the memories they’ll create, and the joy of celebrating their love for years to come.
