For any out-of-towners, here are a few suggestions for fun things to do in the general area.

The Beltline is a 22-mile loop around the city along what used to be a railway corridor. The Eastside Trail serves as a walking path connecting all of our other recommendations, with tons of fun activities along the way.

Historic neighborhood near Hotel Clermont - shop, eat, hop on the Beltline, hang in the park, check out the historic Victorian homes.

Inman Park

Historic neighborhood near Hotel Clermont. A great place to stroll around with tons of shops, restaurants, bars.

Virginia-Highland

A big beautiful park right in the heart of the city. Designed by the Olmsted family who also designed Central Park in NYC.

Piedmont Park

Historic mixed-use redevelopment that used to be a giant Sears distribution center.  Lots of great restaurants and shops and a fun rooftop. A great starting (or ending) point for a stroll down The Beltline
