Alex & Walker started working together in 2010 at a children's clothing shop in Columbia called Little Lambs and Ivy. Alex was a sophomore ADPi at USC and Walker was a senior in high school. They became fast friends and when it was Walker's time for Rush at USC in 2011, Alex became her "Big Sister" in ADPi! Alex is also pulling double duty as Walker's wedding planner!

Lakyn & Walker are friends from middle & high school. During their entire time at Cardinal Newman, Lakyn & Walker were always locker buddies (and Lakyn always had the better top locker!). Lakyn now works for Southern Way Catering and manages the beautiful wedding venue for this celebration!
Meredith Mann

Meredith and Walker are friends from middle and high school at Cardinal Newman. And with birthdays just 3 days apart, they often had joint birthday parties in high school. Meredith has lived in Chicago since graduating college, making it the perfect destination for a Girls Trip!
Whitney Williams

Whitney and Walker became friends once they both moved to Charlotte after college. Though they are both from rival schools (Clemson & USC) the two became quick friends going on many dinner dates in Uptown, and still can be found at any of Charlotte's wine bars on a given weeknight!
Allie Davis

Allie & Walker met freshmen year of college as ADPis in the same pledge class. They were close friends all four years and made a point to always get together post-grad, despite being in different cities. Allie even gave Walker the inspiration to get a Labradoodle and are now the proud owners of Doods (shoutout to Lola & Winnie)!
McNair Gregg

McNair and Walker met the first day of Rush in the same Pi Chi group. That experience basically sealed their friendship. They rushed different sororities, but were inseparable for the next four years!

Danielle and Walker met through their church, First Presbyterian in Charlotte. The two were very active in the church's young adult group and still are! They can also be found at any of Charlotte's wine bars on any given week night!
Cliff Pernell
Best Man
Cliff is Alan's father and Best Man. He has been a constant role model for Alan from the time Alan was born up to the man he has become today. Cliff lives the retired life now, and if he's not on the golf course, then he's at the beach (yet somehow, either way you look at it, he's still in the sand).
Andy Pernell

Andy is Alan's older brother, and, in turn, has remained a pivotal person throughout Alan's life. Andy is a dentist in Denver, NC, and has two sweet daughters with his wife, Kristen. He tries to beat Alan's peloton ride metrics often, but succeeds rarely.
Mark Comer

Mark and Alan have known each other since elementary school and attended UNC together for college. Alan and Mark became best friends while living together in Charlotte and can often be found at breweries or basketball courts around the Queen City.
DJ Bass

DJ and Alan were roommates at UNC and have been great friends ever since. Dj lives near Washington, DC with his wife, Mimi. They have a sweet baby boy, David, but he goes by DG.
Zac Snyder

Alan and Zac met in Nicaragua doing a trip through Wake Forest's MBA program and have been great friends ever since. They lived in the same area of Charlotte, South End, for a few years and were constantly out on the town or hitting the tennis courts. Zac has a gorgeous Golden Retriever, Bella, who Thor (Alan's dog) is smitten with.
Jackson Sutton

Alan and Jackson were pledge brother at Chi Psi Fraternity at UNC and were roommates at the Fraternity Lodge Alan's senior year. Jackson completed Wake Forest's MBA with Alan (although he attended class in Winston and Alan went to class in Charlotte), but they were able to manage a trip to China through the program for a truly once in a lifetime experience.
Nick Beatty

Nick and Alan have known each other since 4th grade and have been great friends ever since. Nick lives in Atlanta while working for Quintiles, and enjoys hitting the links any chance he can get. In true fashion of doing things at the same time, Nick is getting married the weekend following our wedding to his lucky fiance, Anna.

Alex and Alan have been friends since middle school and dominated the sport of tennis in high school at Newton-Conover. Alex and Alan also lived together for a year in Charlotte and still try to hang out as much as possible. Alex was lucky enough that his wife, Emily, agreed to marry him and they recently had a gorgeous baby girl, Lily.
John Spivey

John (aka- Spivey) and Alan met after college on a fated night in Charlotte. Spivey and Alan were instant best friends that bring out pure excitement in each other. Spivey recently completed his MBA from NC State and works for GSK in Raleigh.
Mikey Comer

Mikey is Mark's younger brother and has been friends with Alan for as long as Alan and Mark have been friends. Mikey and Alan lived together in Charlotte and spent countless nights watching movies and playing games. Mikey and his adorable wife, Sarah, live just outside the city and have a super loveable fur baby, Amos.
Tyler Wallace

Tyler and Alan were neighbors at Alan's apartment in South End for a few years before Alan moved out. Tyler and and Alan bonded over a love of grilling and smoking meats. In fact, Tyler is a co-founder of BurgerznDawgz, which became a constant weekend event of having friends over and grilling out. Dogs were encouraged to come, and BurgerznDawgz was formed.
Eric McCombs

Eric and Alan met during Alan's first pharmaceutical sales job at Quintiles. Eric and his wife, Kelli, became life long friends with Alan and have remained so to this day. They have enjoyed beach trips, work trips, and UNC basketball games together and always have a good time when they are together.
Winnie & Thor
Best Dogs
Winnie & Thor are our fur babies that add constant joy to our lives. Walker got Winnie while living at her apartment in South End and Alan had the bright idea to bring Thor home for the first time on the same weekend he moved to his condo in South End. These two pups are a classic big brother/little sister combination and get along famously. On the weekends, you can often catch Winnie & Thor on long walks with Walker and Alan in the neighborhood or basking in the sunshine out on the patio. Although they won't be attending the wedding, we are sure they will be there in spirit!
