Matron of Honor
It is safe to say that I have known Crystal for her entire life! Well, maybe not the first couple of days, but definitely since the day she was brought home from the hospital by Mom and Dad - not by aliens as I once led her to believe. Our relationship was not always easy, especially as we were both going through those rough teenage years. I mean, it must have been rough on everyone at home, when you have an N'Sync fan living in the same bedroom as a Backstreet Boys fan. (Backsteet's Back Baby!!! All Right!!!) However, there has always been a special place in my heart for my baby sister. Her pain is my pain, and her joy and successes make me so proud to call her my best friend. And now she is marrying her best friend, Hunter, who couldn't fit in with the family any better. It is wonderful to see how they support and love each other through life's ups and downs. I am truly honored and blessed to have the opportunity to stand next to them as they start their next journey together!
Best Man
Back before smartphones were a requirement, Hunter came to work with me on a project in DeForest. Hunter was energetic, entertaining, and willing to learn. Before long, I had him trained to fix numerous things, such as wheel bearings and brakes on his vehicles. Whenever Hunter is in a pinch, he knows to call the pig. That's how we ended up laying on the concrete in November, fixing his ice shanty, which he no longer has. After instilling in Hunter that he needed to change positions to get anywhere at the Department of Transportation, he moved over to structure inspections. Around the same time, he decided to run off with a beautiful blonde. Unfortunately, she wasn't for me, but for him. Before you know it, we were all looking at potential houses for them, and they wound up in R10. It was then I knew the hook was set. I look forward to many more pancake breakfasts, cruising the grounds at EAA, attending endless amounts of car shows, and maybe someday getting that square body of theirs running.
Bridesmaid
Crystal and I have been best friends since we met in geometry class sophomore year of high school. We had an instant connection and couldn't stop talking to one another, even during class. We talked so much our teacher had to split us across the classroom, but that didn't stop us. Together, we've made a million memories, shared both laughs and tears, and even laughed until we cried. Even when life got busy, we always had a special bond. Somehow 20 years have passed and we are still best friends. Crystal was the maid of honor in my wedding and now getting to stand in her wedding is such an honor. It's even better that my husband, Brandon, and Hunter have become friends. Crystal and Hunter are going to have such a special day filled with love and laughter. I'm so grateful to be a part of it!
Groomsman
Hunter and I first met in high school. We spent many Fridays at his parents' house grilling and playing backyard football before Norskie games. Then, Hunter decided to go to college in Platteville and our friendship became distanced. Fortunately, it picked right back up where it left off once he returned. Our time spent together went from hanging out in the backyard to bonding over our obsession of fishing. Whether it's ice fishing season or open water fishing season, we constantly call each other to find out who is going where and for what kind of fish. If we are fishing together, we all know we're taking my boat because Hunter is too cheap to drive his truck. I know Hunter and I will play the game of "who is going to catch more fish" for the rest of our lives. Each day Crystal joins us, we secretly hope she doesn't out fish both of us.
Bridesmaid
I've known Crystal my entire life. As her niece, I've had the joy of watching her grow into the incredible woman she is today. Now, as one of her best friends I have the even greater privilege of sharing life's moments more closely with her. Crystal and I have created so many wonderful memories together - one of my favorites being when she first introduced me to Luke Combs. I love that Hunter now shares the same passion for his music, just like Crystal. Crystal and Hunter's ability to laugh, grow, and create memories together is something special. I am so honored to stand beside them as they start this new chapter.
Groomsman
Hunter saved me from loneliness during our college dorm days after my random roommate was asked, somewhat politely, to move out. Hunter and I already knew each other, but it was a big leap of faith anyway. It turned out to be one of the best things that ever happened. We said goodnight to each other every night and I was even able to sneak a snuggle a couple times after being overserved. The future has taken us apart physically, but we are still like family. Every time I get to see Hunter and Crystal, it's like my brother and sister-in-law came to visit. That's the way it will always be. This wedding is long overdue, and I can't wait for it to finally be official!
Bridesmaid
Crystal and I first met during her interview for a position in Consumer Affairs. Crystal impressed us with her poise and knowledge. Once hired, she continued to excel, and it wasn't long before she was promoted to Specialist. Together, we eventually became managers. We've navigated numerous work-related challenges over the past few years, and these challenges have strengthened our bond. While work initially brought us together, our venting sessions, shared sarcastic sense of humor, and love of country music made us friends! Some of my favorite memories with Crystal include our trips to Brewer's games and seeing Hardy open for Morgan Wallen in Tennessee! I am grateful to have Crystal as both a coworker and friend! I am honored to stand by Crystal's side as she and Hunter share their wedding day and start their married life together. Here's to creating more memories!
Groomsman
Hunter and I met back when we were in college, and we've stayed close ever since. We now work together at the Wisconsin Department of Transportation. which has been a great way to stay connected. We often call each other to discuss work matters and normally end the call on personal matters, wondering how we ended up on the last topic. Outside of work, we enjoy spending time fishing, especially perch fishing and ice fishing. Over the years, we've taken a couple of fishing trips to Canada together. Each trip, we've created memories that have turned into great stories to tell our friends and family. Whether it's open water or a frozen lake, it's always a great time with good laughs and better company. I am honored to be a part of Hunter and Crystal's wedding day as they start this new journey together.
Flower Girl
Arabelle is Hunter's youngest niece. She is as shy as they come, but blossoms like a flower in Spring once she gets to know you. Her cute little smile and warm snuggles melt our hearts. We are so grateful to have Arabelle as our flower girl!
Ring Bearer
Ashton is Hunter's nephew. He loves all things cars and dinosaurs and isn't afraid to tell you when his toys are broken. Our hearts completely melt when he tells us he loves us multiple times before we leave. We are so grateful to have Ashton as our ring bearer!
