In January we booked a trip to Aruba with Tim's parents John and Sharon. On April 29th, Sharon's birthday, and after months of anticipation we finally boarded the plane! We arrived to beautiful summer weather enjoyed lunch while exploring Flamingo Island soaking in every ray of sun possible. Sharon was offered a free photoshoot as consolation for a delay in check in time, or so Kim was told!! Sharon pretended to have no interest passing the shoot onto Tim & Kim. We met a professional photographer and his assistant at Elements Restaurant within the Bucuti Tara Resort. The photographer took us around the resort and out onto Eagle Beach. As the sun began to set Tim pointed back towards the restaurant asking who was with his parents. I turned around to see John, Sharon, Steve and Patti all walking on the beach towards us! How did you get here was all I could think? In complete shock I turned to see Tim on one knee with a little black box and a beautiful diamond ring. Yes, forever and ever YES!!!

Tim and Kim met through a group of friends in the summer of 2019. We began spending more and more time together exploring bars, restaurants and concerts. Our first official date was to Newport, RI in August. We stopped at a local coffee shop (Kim's favorite) to get "amazing coffees" before heading out. We walked the cliff walks, went out onto the beach and stopped in for "the best mudslide" (Tim's favorite) at O'Brien's. He wasn't kidding, they were delicious! We rented a two person scooter and set out to see the mansions. Tim drove that scooter like we were in the Indy 500 making sure we saw everything there was to see while I was in stitches with laughter! After barely making it back to return the scooter on time we strolled downtown, poking into a few shops and eventually making our way to The Landing. We ordered a few cocktails and enjoyed a dinner on the upper deck. Talking and dreaming of adventures we could take and places we would go. With ease, we were accidentally in love before either of us could see it coming
