How we met

We never in a million years thought we would find our soulmate on the internet but with an open heart and a curious mind and both swiped right and thats how it all began. We decided to meet up at Toby Keith's (a country bar in Foxboro MA) for dinner on a Sunday evening in 2016- Mind you, it took two weeks of chatting back and forth beforehand before our first date happened. Dan initiated the date and it took a couple of tries. We finally met up and Dan's first words to Maggie were "oh you are real". He was captivated and thought "she's even prettier in person" (his words). We were one of the only ones dining there that night but with Dan's witty jokes and Maggie's giggles you would never know it. We hit it off instantly and conversation was easy, lighthearted and real. We talked about our love for travel, family, good food, hiking, music festivals, and our plans for the future. By the end of the night we both knew it was something special. Dan even wanted to see Maggie the very next day. Maggie immediately told her Mom and Dad about Dan and as things unfolded, everyone knew "he might be the one". A few months later we were traveling to Greece and this was the beginning of everything....

The Proposal

We got engaged in Zermatt, Switzerland (which was pretty epic & one of our favorite memories) during our month long trip to Europe summer of 2019. Dan carefully and thoughtfully planned this all out and even hired a professional photographer who pretended to be a blogger to capture the moment (how incredible right?!) After coming home from Italy, our last stop on our trip, we then moved to Colorado and have since started to build a life together here, touring Denver, exploring the outdoors, going to every brewery, and teaching Maggie how to master skiing. Little did we know how drastically our lives would change in the coming year.... As you all may know, we had to postpone our wedding twice already since being engaged due to COVID. As upsetting and uncertain this all has been, we have made it through and during this challenging time, our relationship has been strengthened. Although our original wedding plans in the Canadian Rockies could not happen, we feel so grateful and blessed to be able to now move forward with faith knowing that everything is meant to be for a reason. We are so excited to get married in the beautiful state of CO, the place we live in and now call home, surrounded by all the people we love. The best things in life are surely worth waiting for and we CAN'T WAIT to finally say I do!

For all the days along the way
