We encourage you to secure your lodging accommodations as soon as possible. If you can believe it, there is more than one wedding happening the same weekend as ours (I know!) as well as a bluegrass festival so options are limited! AirBnB/VRBO are strongly advised. Westcliffe is a lovely, rural, small town. That said, you will need your own vehicle as taxis and Ubers will not be an option. If you are flying in, you have the option of flying into Denver International Airport (DIA) or Colorado Springs. Either way, you will need to rent a car. DIA may be the best option for flying direct. It's a little over three hours from Three Peaks Ranch. The Colorado Springs airport is smaller and slightly closer about two hours away.
Westcliffe is small town with small town options. If you are headed in for a few days it will be best stop to pick up food and supplies at one of the larger surrounding towns such as Pueblo or Colorado Springs.
This is an adult-only event with the exception of the bride and groom's immediate nephews.
Please leave your fur babies at home. This will be a very full day and while we will have our Sagie girl to celebrate with us, we kindly ask that you leave yours behind.
July in Colorado is typically warm, high 70s/low 80s, but can still get chilly at night dropping to 60s/high 50s. July is usually dry though does not mean it won't rain! Afternoon thunderstorms are typical for Colorado but they are usually brief. Don't be surprised if there is a bit of breeze - we are a windy state.
Westcliffe is at 7,867 feet. Please stay very hydrated! We advise to limit alcohol especially on the first day you travel in if you are coming in from out of state/lower elevation. It may even be a good idea to take tylenol or similar preemptively. Also take it easy and maybe hold off on a long walk or hike until a day or two after you travel in.
Three Peaks Ranch is a smoke-free facility. Smoking/Vaping is not permitted in any of the structures or the restroom trailer. Smoking will only be allowed in the designated outdoor smoking area on the property, and all cigarette and cigar butts must be disposed of in the designated receptacle.
We suggest dressy casual. Our theme can be described as country chic pulling in elements of modern rustic and upscale boho. We do not have any one color but rather an earthy, natural palette. The ceremony will be outdoors and the reception will be in an indoor/outdoor canvas barn with a deck for socializing and dancing.
Post-ceremony, we will have an extended cocktail hour with yard games, photo opportunities, refreshments, and hors d'oeuvres. A fresh farm-to-table buffet-style dinner will be provided at the reception along with alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Allergens will be clearly marked but please do indicate any allergies or dietary restrictions on your RSVP.
We love that you are excited to help us capture our special day. In the spirit of the peaceful mountain location and intimate setting, we ask that you do not use drones due to the propeller noise and visible distraction.
We appreciate you wanting to join us even if you cannot make it! However, we will not be offering a live stream. We will be sure to share our cherished photos so those who are unable to attend can experience our day.
