FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

To help us with our planning, please RSVP to the events as soon as possible. However, the deadline is August 18th, 2026. If we do not recieve your RSVP by this date, we cannot make exceptions and will have to mark you as "No". We need to provide the venue with a total guest count in a timely manner; we hope you understand.

Question

Do I get a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we will only be able to accommodate those specifically on your invitation. If you received a plus one, it will be listed on your invitation.

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, this is an adults only ceremony and reception. Enjoy a parents' night out!

Question

Is the venue indoor or outdoor?

Answer

Both! The ceremony and reception are both indoor. However, there will be an outdoor cocktail hour.

Question

Are the ceremony and reception in the same place?

Answer

No! The ceremony will be held at Prince of Peace Catholic Church starting at 3:00 pm. The reception will be held at Shirley Acres starting at 6:00 pm. They are about 20 minutes away from each other.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We request all guests dress in formal attire. For Men: suit and tie, no tuxedo necessary. For Women: tea or floor length dresses. Fun colors and patterns are encouraged! If you have any questions, please reach out.

Question

If I'm coming in from out of town, where should I stay?

Answer

See the "Travel" tab at the top of the page for hotel options near the venue!

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you put your phones and cameras away during the ceremony, as we want you to be present with us in the moment. We have a professional photographer and videographer capturing the ceremony for us. Other than the ceremony, YES! Please feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There will be ample parking at both the church and the reception venue.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We suggest you arrive to the church at least 20 minutes before the ceremony starts in order to get settled.

Question

What will be served at the reception? What if I have a dietary restriction?

Answer

We will have a seated dinner, with --- on the menu. Please let us know when you RSVP if there are any dietary restrictions, and we will try our best to accommodate.
