Black Butte is a 15 minute drive north of Sisters and is a great long hike (2-3 hours) with amazing views of Central Oregon. This is a really nice hike for anyone who feels up for the challenge!
Suttle Lake is about 25 minutes north of Sisters. It's a gorgeous lake where you can swim, run around the perimeter of the lake, or just lounge on the shore taking in the sights and sounds of Central Oregon.
For a quaint cinema experience, guests can check out the Sisters Movie House. Housed in a large refurbished barn, check out a (small) selection of new releases! The Movie House is located directly next to Five Pine Lodge.
The Deschutes River Trail is located right in the heart of Bend's west side. You'll be able to walk directly along the Deschutes among the pine trees. In total this is a 2-3 mile loop with relatively low difficulty - great for families or anyone looking for a relaxing hike. If you're brave enough, take a dip in the chilly Deschutes after!
We can't put every single brewery in town on this list, so we're settling for Deschutes Brewery located in Downtown Bend. Other nearby breweries with great local craft beer options include 10 Barrel, Crux Fermentation Project, Boneyard Brewing, and many more. For an outdoor experience, check out Crux!
Tumalo Falls is a great option for anyone who enjoys a nice waterfall that's only 25 minutes west of Bend. There is a hiking trail that continues well beyond the falls, but for those who just want to look at some good water falling off a cliff in unison, the falls are very close to the parking area.
