Getting married!

Our love story began five years ago. We were working in the same industry at different companies. We met by chance on an elevator, but connected while servicing a shared client. Shortly after meeting, I inquired about a position at his company. I applied and during my interview, he walked into the room and said, "Hello!". He definitely caught my attention. I was offered the position and we began working at the same company. After several years of working closely, we were no longer just colleagues; we were friends. There were times that we flirted, but remained friends. Daniel eventually left the company to pursue an amazing opportunity, but we stayed in touch. A few months after leaving the company, he asked me out and we went on our first date to Navy Pier. The date was magical. We enjoyed a boat ride and ended it with a kiss. We have been inseparable since and the rest is history. Destiny brought us together and now we are in love.

It was an evening that I will always remember. Daniel had planned a surprised rooftop dinner for two that turned out to be absolutely amazing. We spent time romancing, taking photos, and gazing at the beautiful lights of Downtown Chicago. There were moments that Daniel kept drifting away to the restroom. At least that's what he told me he was doing. Eventually, he returned with the Hostess who asked if she could take our picture. As we walked to find the perfect spot, she says "Stop! Right there." As I turned around to face the camera, I noticed Daniel kneeling. He said "I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you marry me?" With tears rolling down my face, I said "YES!" It was literally the happiest moment of my life. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. Welcome to our adventure!
