Due to Covid, Brendan and I have had to make a terribly hard decision regarding the number of guests we can invite. We are keeping our wedding date, but we are limiting our guests to wedding party and immediate family only. We wanted to provide an option to those that cannot attend by watching a live video of our ceremony. There will be a link posted to watch on July 18th at 4:30 pm. We both knew of each other in high school. Our high schools were rivals and Brendan was a grade ahead of me. Fast forward to the summer after graduating college. Both of us were out one weekend with our friends in Leavenworth. I knew that Brendan was going to be a teacher and I was looking for a job. I saw Brendan sitting alone and decided to walk up to him and say hi. We talked the whole night about teaching and got to know each other. We laughed and danced, and I knew I had to see him again. Brendan got me connected with a teaching position and I took it. We were both elementary teachers teaching in the same district at schools within a few blocks of each other. I knew I was going to marry this man.
