We’re getting married!

Michael and Ashton have been in each other's lives since they both attended Dixie Baptist Church. Their love for serving gave them opportunities to grow closer, serving in several different ministries. Working on projects with their families are memories they fondly remember. Over many years of their siblings hanging out and families combining through their sibling's marriage, they grew closer. As they got to know each other better, they found themselves helping remodel their sibling's new home. After months of working side by side on electrical, plumbing issues, drywall and getting harassed about "dates in the attic" as they ran electrical wire, Michael asked Ashton on their first date. They continued to date for a year and 9 months before Michael proposed to Ashton in the snowy December weather when Ashton responded with an immediate “Yes!”
