✈ When searching open browser to "incognito" mode to hide any previous searches. Airlines increase prices when you continue to search same dates/times. Tuesday and Wednesday evenings tend to find the best deals. ✈ Flight departure days tend to be cheaper on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Most expensive travel days are Thursdays and Saturdays. ✈ Use Hopper or Google Flight Tracker to track best time to purchase flights ✈Book directly through Airlines or Expedia, Travelocity, and Orbitz have great sites for booking flights

How do I get from Cancun airport to Hotel?

🚗 Destination Weddings have included van service transfer to/from the airport with hotel rate. They will track your manifest and group people on the same flight. Company is called LOMAS (teal shirts) who will be waiting for you outside the airport. Resort is less than 20 minutes away. You can purchase alcohol right outside Cancun airport and bring on car ride as a roady... no judgement as you are on vacation :)

Do I need a Covid Test/Vaccine?

💉You DO NOT need a Covid test or need to be vaccinated to get into Mexico. 💉CDC as of June 2022. You DONT need a negative Covid test to enter back in the US. 💉Vaccine cards NOT REQUIRED to return to US.

Do i have to wear a mask?

😷As of April 2022 All airports & planes DO NOT require masks. 😷Mexico is mask optional for guests, but currently mandatory for workers or asked to wear in buffet lines.

Is Cancun safe?

⛑Yes, Mexico is safe. Haven Hotel Resort is on a private beach, with private secured entry. National Guard is at Airport & at Public beaches to protect tourist. Tourism is their main source of income. Don't buy drugs or get into fights :)

Do I need Pesos- Mexican cash?

Answer

🤑No, Mexico excepts US dollars & credit cards. Exchange rate is like US 50cents to 19 pesos. Note: Tipping at an all inclusive is not necessary or required . From Wedding Specialist: I generally suggest leave something for housekeeping extra if they have done a great job of taking care of you, in restaurants if the service was really outstanding $5 for dinner for 2 or $10 for dinner for 4.  Tipping for the shuttle driver is not included so should be done at $2 to $5 depending on the number of bags per person.
