We got married!

SURPRISE! We got married on Sunday, June 23, 2024, with immediate family and a few close friends present in Raleigh, NC. It was the most beautiful (hot) day in our favorite city, and we could not have asked for a better wedding celebration. Now on to your real questions - "when did you get engaged?" "how did you plan a wedding so quickly?" "are you pregnant?" (I'll stop you there - no, not pregnant). During one of our many conversations about the future, we agreed that it was inevitable that we would get married one day, and we weren't concerned about following the traditional engagement timeline. While nearly every single response to our crazy idea was "what?!", we think it should come as no surprise that once we landed on the idea, we went for it with no delay. So, within 6 days, Amanda, Elliott, and our best friend Jordan planned the wedding of our dreams. We got married in the Rose Garden at the JC Raulston Arboretum, followed by a reception lunch on the rooftop at Taverna Agora. It was so, so special. Of course, we would love to celebrate with everyone we've ever met. So many of our friends and family have been a part of our relationship, and we want everyone to know how much we appreciate the love and support. We hope to celebrate with everyone soon!! P.S. We do not expect gifts! However, we've had several people ask us if we have a registry, and we figured this would be the best way to communicate our story and provide a registry for those who feel inclined. Your well wishes are enough for us!
