FAQs

We want to make sure you have all the details you need! From the dress code to travel tips, we’ve put together answers to some of the most common questions. If you don’t find what you’re looking for here, feel free to reach out to us directly!
Question

Where is the wedding taking place?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony will be held at St. Isidore Church in Riverhead. Our reception will follow at Raphael Vineyard in Peconic.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Our wedding dress code is black tie optional. The bridal party will be in tuxedos and gowns, so guests are welcome to wear a tuxedo or formal gown, but a dark suit or evening dress is also perfectly appropriate if you prefer a less formal look. For ladies wearing heels, our wedding will be both inside and outside on grass, so you may want to opt for a block heel!

Question

What is the best way to get there?

Answer

For those flying in, Islip MacArthur Airport (ISP) is the closest, about a 40 minute drive. JFK and LGA are also options, but the drive is a bit longer (expect around 2 hours depending on traffic). If you prefer to travel by train, the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) has a line that goes to multiple stations (Ronkonkoma, Riverhead, West Hampton). From there, you may need a taxi or rideshare to reach your accommodation and the venue.

Question

Will there be parking available at the venue?

Answer

There is parking free of charge available at both St. Isidore Church and Raphael, but space may be limited.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony begins at 12:30pm, so we kindly ask guests to arrive no later than 12:15pm.

Question

Will transportation be provided between the church and the venue?

Answer

There will not be transportation provided, however there are taxis and rideshare options available in the area. We also encourage carpooling with others staying nearby!

Question

Are children invited to the wedding?

Answer

We’ve decided to make our celebration an adults-only event. While we love your kids we hope this allows you to relax and enjoy the night with us! Thank you for understanding.
