FAQs

If you have any questions other than those listed below, please reach out to the bride at 434-989-6222.
Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! We would love to celebrate with you in your best cocktail attire! Gentlemen are encouraged to wear a suit and tie or dress pants and a button-down, and ladies can opt for a floor-length dress, midi, cocktail dress, or jumpsuit. We can’t wait to celebrate with you in style!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your children, but due to space restrictions, we can't accommodate guests who aren't listed on your invitation, including kids. If your child has been invited, their name will be on your invitation.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We'd like to keep the guest list just for our nearest and dearest friends. The name of every guest invited to attend is listed on your invitation, and additional guests are not able to be accomodated.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There is parking available, but we do suggest that guests carpool for convenience if at all possible.

Question

Is your venue ADA-Accessible?

Answer

Our venue is not fully ADA-accessible. There are 2 stairs to access the restrooms. If needed, the venue can put out a ramp to make the transition easier. If you have questions, contact the bride at 434-989-6222 and she'd be more than happy to send photos!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that you arrive at least 30 minutes before the ceremony time to ensure you have enough time to park and walk to your seat.

Question

Will there be a time gap between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

There will be a short cocktail hour between the ceremony and reception to allow the couple to take family photos. Hors d'oeuvres will be provided during this time.

Question

Is there a wedding registry? If so, where are you registered?

Answer

Yes! You can find our complete wedding registry here on our website (and purchase directly from our wish list) under the "Registry" tab.

Question

Are pictures allowed during the wedding ceremony and/or reception?

Answer

We kindly ask that you keep our wedding "unplugged" and refrain from taking any photos or videos during the ceremony. We have hired an incredible professional photographer and want our guests to be in the moment with us during this special day. Photos are more than welcome during the reception!
