Our wedding attire is Coastal Formal. Think elevated and summery: lightweight fabrics, bright or soft seasonal colors, and formal silhouettes. Gentlemen: suit and tie. Ladies: floor-length, midi, or elegant cocktail dresses. (We promise — no tux required, but feel free if you’d like!)
Our ceremony will take place at Our Lady Star of the Sea Roman Catholic church in Cape May. Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early so we can begin on time.
Our reception will be held at ICONA Avalon following the ceremony. Transportation details (if applicable) will be provided closer to the date.
While we adore your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration unless your child’s name is specifically listed on your invitation. We appreciate you making arrangements in advance and hope you enjoy a fun night out!
Yes! Parking will be available at both the church and reception venue. Additional details will be listed here closer to the wedding weekend.
If you have been given a plus one, it will be clearly indicated on your invitation. Due to space limitations, we are only able to accommodate those listed on the invite.
June in Cape May is typically warm and beautiful, with daytime temperatures in the 70s–80s. Evenings by the water can be breezy, so a light wrap or jacket is recommended.
If we arrange transportation between hotel blocks and the reception, we will share those details here. Otherwise, rideshare services and local taxis are available but may be limited late at night — we recommend planning ahead.
Your presence is truly the greatest gift. However, if you wish to honor us with something more, our registry information can be found under the “Registry” tab.
There will be about a 2.5 hour break between the ceremony and reception while we take photos. We encourage you to enjoy some time in Cape May! Grab a drink or light bite at Washington Street Mall, take a stroll along the promenade at Cape May Beach, or relax at your hotel and freshen up before the celebration. We promise the party will be worth the wait!
Many hotels in the Cape May area require a two-night minimum stay, especially during the summer season. If you plan to book within our room block (or anywhere nearby), we recommend planning accordingly and reserving early, as availability can be limited in June.
