We "met" at the home of Wade's sister, Caitlin, January 31st, 2021. We say "met" because our paths had crossed a couple of times over the previous decade as Casey and Caitlin are college friends. Wade called Casey the day before his birthday in March, and they haven't stopped talking since.

Casey and Wade picked out an engagement ring together in July, but due to pandemic production wait, the arrival of the designed ring kept being pushed back. In early October, Wade could wait no longer, and shocked Casey by proposing at the Georgia State Botanical Gardens with an additional, new ring.

Casey will be joining Wade in Statham, Georgia just outside of Athens. The property has been in Wade's family since his great-grandparents bought the land to farm in the 1930's. Wade will continue to work for the Oconee County Sheriff's Office, and only God knows what Casey will do!
