Answer

Question

What are some good places to eat?

Answer

So many good places. Here's some recommendations: $ = ~15 / person $$ = ~30 / person $$$ = ~45 / person $$$$ = ~60+ / person Oku - $$$ - Japanese Cuisine along Cabrillo Blvd. This is without a doubt one of the best places to spend an evening, especially if you can get a spot on the second floor deck. We've celebrated several birthdays here. Carlitos Café y Cantina - $$$ - Higher up on State Street, this is where we had our first date! This place has a special place in our hearts and great food as well. Blue Water Grill - $$$$ - A great seafood spot right by the water. Santo Mezcal - $$$ - One of our favorite cocktail and Mexican spots Flor De Mais - $$$ - A molé focused Mexican spot along the water (also good cocktails) Mony's - $ - Some of the best burritos and tacos in the county. The salsas are so dang good. Taqueria Santa Barbara - $ - If we aren't going to Mony's, we're probably going here. Their pastor burrito with the pineapple salsa is super. South Coast Deli - $ - A local sandwich shop favorite. They have a lot of different options and are typically easy going when it comes to substitutions. Third Window- $-$$ - Made locally famous with their insanely good smash burgers. Good wheat beers as well. Biergarten - $-$$ - Great for burgers/pizza/pretzels/sausages. This spot is in the Funk Zone and has a lot going for it. Also you can get a 2 liter boot of beer. Shalhoobs - $-$$ - Amazing bbq and good beer. This spot is like Biergarten in terms of its nice sized patio area. Tends to be more of a family spot. Santa Barbara Craft Ramen - $$ - This spot is on lower state and rivals a lot of ramen places in the state. Zaytoon - $$$ - Lebanese food. Feast on amazing shawarma while sitting next to a fire table under dreamy lights. This place makes you feel like you're in a different country and it's wonderful. Institution Ale - $$ - This tap room is right in the middle of downtown on State Street. We really like their pizza options.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! We highly highly recommend hopping on board our shuttle service, which will be picking up and dropping off at the 4 hotel locations listed on this page. There will be very limited parking near the venue during this peak season time of year. Not to mention, we want to ensure the safety of all of our guests and make sure everyone gets home stress free! Jump On The School Bus is an awesome local business that provides a fun and easy way to get to/from the wedding. There will be music and coolers with beverages on the shuttles for your enjoyment! We will post the pickup times as we get closer to the big day! In the mean time, feel free to check out the shuttles at www.jumpontheschoolbus.com
