We met the couple that owns this restaurant while on a date night in Custer, SD (about an hour drive from Rapid City). Their food is phenomenal-- one night we were there, the cuisine was inspired by the owners' recent trip to the West Coast. Of note, you must have a reservation in advance-- they fill up quick!
This was the first of many hiking dates! The trail is about 3 miles round trip, and the view at the top is incredible-- one of the best in the hills!
