It all started when Emily walked up to LeeBeth at 2nd grade club soccer tryouts and told her, “I want to be just like you.” Since then, the two have been attached at the hip and the bestest of friends. Emily set LeeBeth up with her now husband, John Neville, and it just so happens that LeeBeth set Emily up with her now fiancé, Will Van Hoozer. Nobody knows what you need more than your best friend, right? LeeBeth and John have 2 beautiful kids, Hudson and Camber.

Emily and Tara are recent friends, but have a friendship that you would have thought was since birth! Emily met Tara through Will, who is best friends with her husband, Bryce Brown. Tara, Bryce, and Will went to Seven Lakes High School together. The four of them hang out every weekend and have the same hobbies. Whether it’s tennis, pickleball, or grilling by the pool, they are inseparable! Tara has been such a sister to Emily in the few years they have known each other. Emily and Tara always joke about buying houses next door to each other and building an underground bridge that connects their houses! LOL!

God definitely knew what he was doing when he brought Janie to Texas in 6th grade and made her Emily’s neighbor. Janie, Emily and LeeBeth have been the triple threat for years and years to come, doing absolutely everything imaginable together in middle school and high school. Janie and her husband are the perfect examples of good and faithful servants, having dedicated their lives to spreading the word of God through their ministry program, Student Mobilization. Janie is Emily’s prayer warrior and they have such a sweet, intentional friendship. Janie gives the best advice and would drop everything to make sure the people she loves are okay.

Lexi was with Emily the night she met Will for the first time! She helped Emily get ready for the 4th of July get together they all met at, making sure her hair and outfit were perfect enough to win over her summer crush! Lexi is a social butterfly. She is spontaneous, fun, and always loves to have a good time. She is outgoing, has the best energy, and will make everyone in a room feel loved and included. She has a huge heart for her friends and always stays in touch despite having lived in Atlanta the last few years. Come summer of 2024, she will be making her way back to H town to reunite with Emily and Will!

Jamie was Emily’s mentor coming into her new career at Northwestern Mutual. Jamie and Emily bonded right away, and their relationship became much more than just a working one. Jamie and Emily have a burning love for coffee, attend Grace Fellowship church services together on Sundays, and text all day every day about ALL things life. Being friends with Jamie is the easiest thing on the planet. She is selfless, loving, passionate and cares so deeply about those she loves. Jamie is married to Matt Thompson and has a beautiful daughter named, Brynlee.

Emily & Lindsey met in Northwestern Mutual training camp right out of college. Her maiden name is, “Oliphant,” so Emily calls her, Elephant, as a nickname. Lindsey is a creative force! She’s always helped Emily brainstorm more ways to improve her business, create documents, and has been a sound board and shoulder to lean on. Lindsey is the best listener and gives 10/10 advice. She is genuine, nurturing, and the life of the party! Lindsey took Emily to her first rodeo and officially made her a Texan!

Sabrina was the first person Emily met at the University of the Incarnate Word at soccer orientation. They were team mates all 4 years of college and have been through a ton together. From the weekend game days, to 5am sprints, to community service hours, their relationship has only grown stronger and stronger! Sabrina is the most positive and uplifting person you will ever meet. She lights up a room and makes everyone feel welcome. Sabby has a special place in Emily’s heart and life forever!

Kat and Emily grew up playing club soccer together. They clicked right away and have always had such an easy friendship! Kat is currently one of Emily’s best friends, but also her fitness coach. When you see Emily looking fit walking down the aisle, you can thank Coach Kat! She is dedicated, determined, and passionate about helping women feel comfortable in their own skin. She teaches Emily healthy lifestyle habits and is her biggest accountability partner when it comes to work/life balance. Emily and Kat both love shopping, fashion, and working out together. Kat has an infectious, beautiful personality!

Emily and Mary struggled through science courses together in college. Funny enough, Emily set Mary up with her now husband, Nick Coffman. Mary is kind, intentional, and puts everyone else before herself. She is the kind of friend who is there for you the second you need her. Emily and Mary love to talk all things outfits, hair, relationships.. and have hours and hours worth of phone calls every month just to catch up on life. Emily was recently in Mary’s wedding, so now the roles have reversed. Bring on Van Hoozer!

Emily calls her, “Jelly!” Anjelica and Emily met through Wills oldest brother, Drew Van Hoozer. She lights up a room and is the kindest, most gentle soul you will meet. Emily and Anjelica have monthly nail salon dates, which leads to shopping.. too much shopping. They share many laughs, fun moments, and lean on each other for advice. Emily, Anjelica, Drew and Will love to try new restaurants, activities, and spend a ton of time together! Anjelica is intentional, selfless, and always smiling!

Alyssa and Emily were soccer team mates in college, best friends, and even roomies! They were the type of roommates and friends who never once got in an argument, which is rare as we all know! Alyssa and Emily both loved going to the dog park with Mila all through college, trying new places to eat, and made sure to always be hotel and bus buddies during way game weekends. Their friendship has only continued to grow outside of graduating, and is one that will last forever! Alyssa is smart, kind, and spontaneous. She is the kind of friend that is down to do anything on a whim!

“Bryyy” as we call him, is one of Will’s closest friends. Will and Bryce met the first day of freshman year, and before you know it, Will was over at his house every single day! They are inseparable, enjoy all of the same things, and are the reason that Emily and Tara are now best friends as well.

“Kallll” as we call him, is Will’s middle brother. Kyle is extremely similar to Will in many ways. They are both spontaneous, always down to try new things, and support each other like no other. Both brothers have big hearts and put a lot of passion into everything that they do in life.

“Grobe” as we call him, is Will’s youngest brother. Will is a support system to Grant, always giving big brother advice and steering him through life. They would play rocket league together ALL night long if Emily allowed it! Grant and Will are both extremely motivated, always coming up with fun ideas and ways to make money.

Drew is Will’s oldest brother, always being the best role model to the rest of the crew. Drew is kind, understanding, and the easiest person to be around. He is strong in his faith and always gives the best advice. Will and Drew get along flawlessly, supporting each other endlessly as life brings along new experiences.

Ben and Will are golf lovers and love to talk all things energy trading! They are brothers by default, but best friends by design. Emily and Will love spending time with Ben & his girlfriend, Rachel. If it is a nice day outside, you will catch them all doing something outdoorsy and spontaneous!

“JT” as we call him, is one of Will’s childhood best friends. JT and Will grew up going to West University Baptist church together, forming an immediate friendship and brotherhood. Once graduating high school, they both ended up at Baylor University, living it up in college together. JT and Will have a special friendship, always picking it right up where it’s left.

Andrew is Emily’s brother, but effortlessly fits in with the Van Hoozer brothers as well. Andrew and Will have loved hanging out together as Will’s relationship with Emily has grown. They have snowboarded together, traveled together, and are always down to try new things. Andrew is excited to have Will officially become part of the family!
