The venue for our ceremony is located in the town of Sopó which sits in the department of Cundinamarca. We highly recommend getting hotels or Airbnbs within the neighboring town of Chía, which is only 20 minutes away from the venue (30 minutes North of central Bogotá). There will be more options here than in Sopó. Transportation should be available to us all on the night of the event. For a longer stay in Bogotá, we recommend the areas of El Chicó & La Candelaria. El Chicó is an area of contemporary flair surrounded by restaurants, venues of entertainment, and places to shop. This area is an hour away from our venue. For a more historical experience, we recommend staying within La Candelaria, where there are historical landmarks, museums, and restaurants.
