Reed and Tori first met in 2016 as cadets in the Modesto Police Department, training side by side for two years. A quiet connection formed early on, but life took them in different directions—Reed went on to serve in the U.S. Army for four years. During his final year of service, Tori reached out to say hello, and that message sparked a renewed friendship. From there, things naturally grew. Reed visited Tori while on leave, met her family, and soon she met his. On December 27th, 2020, they officially began dating. Even with distance between them—Tori flying to Texas each month—their relationship stayed strong. In May 2021, Reed completed his service and returned to California, where they began building a life together. In March 2022, they made the move to Idaho Falls, a place that quickly felt like home. Reed served as a police officer for the Pocatello Police Department while Tori served as a police officer in the Idaho Falls Police Department. Today, Tori works as a detective with the Idaho Falls Police Department, and Reed pursues his master’s degree in public administration. Together, they’ve created a life full of everyday joys—hiking, traveling, and relaxing at home with their dog, Brody. Now, they’re excited to take the next step and celebrate their future as husband and wife.
