It all started with a twitter DM on January 26, 2016. A simple message that would change everything. Introduced through a mutual friend, Anna and Michael discovered a connection that would last a lifetime. Michael first laid eyes on Anna through her best friend’s instagram post which led them to following each other on social media during the summer of 2015. It wasn’t until they both ended up at the same college, University of Texas at Arlington, where they saw each other for the first time. From that first conversation, to Michael convincing Anna to go on date (where he ate a whole chunk of wasabi to impress her!), which turned into good morning texts that eventually turned into never being able to stop talking to each other. A chance message that became the start of forever. Anna and Michael started to officially date on March 1, 2016. Through the years, they have built a life full of love, laughter, and lessons. Anna and Michael grown together through their challenges, celebrated accomplishments, and picked up new hobbies (If you know Michael, he does everything!). On March 9, 2024, Michael proposed to Anna in Park City, Utah at the top of a snowy mountain. The proposal was perfect because it was meaningful, adventurous, and uniquely them. It was their first shared hobby that started in December 2021 and has continued to be a yearly tradition in their lives. They can’t wait to keep building a life together, creating new memories, picking up new hobbies, and sharing more adventures side by side. The story of Anna and Michael started in January 2016 and continues on to the next chapter 10 years later on January 17, 2026.
