We met after transferring into the same department at work. We had a lot of fun bantering back and forth between helping customers, and decided to hang out. The sparks flew and we took off from there!

Melissa had always wanted to be proposed to at Disney, but Garrett's impatience to pop the question led to him sneakily getting some Mickey ears and setting up a surprise at our anniversary dinner. The only problem was that Melissa guessed that Garrett got an engagement ring when he went Black Friday shopping at the mall...where he never goes in 99.99999% of situations. Luckily, Melissa's friends helped him keep the secret and she got her Disney-ish proposal at Jimm's.

While visiting Disney World in June, we snagged a photographer and Garrett reproposed on Main Street USA right as we entered the park, with the Cinderella Castle in the background. The highlight of this one was an onlooker saying "Is this for real right now?" We both got a good laugh out of that comment!
