Hellllllooooo, Match.com. With Chris new to the area and Kayla working and going to university full time, both of us turned to online dating to meet someone. After wading through many bad dates with other people (seriously, don't get us started on the crazy people out there), we finally met each other. What Kayla thought was going to be a quick first date, turned into hours of conversation at Carolina Ale House. Both of us walked away from that date knowing we had finally met the right person. The rest is history.

Chris and Kayla decided to take a quick trip down to Clearwater, Florida. Kayla thought the point of the trip was to relax by the ocean and visit old friends. Little did she know Chris had other ideas. On the last night of vacation, Chris convinced Kayla to take a moonlit stroll along the beach. Halfway down the beach, with no one around Chris dropped to one knee and popped the question! Kayla was so stunned that she didn't even answer and started tearing up, a simple head nod was all she could manage. With that head nod, we were engaged!
