Did you know we are both teachers? Chandler graduated with his undergrad in actuarial mathematics and decided to go back to get his masters in teaching. While, Emma got her undergrad in teaching. Little did we know we would experience the worst college professor together! It wasn’t until after that class, we met, & realized it was the best class of our lives.

We went to Burntwood Tavern in Chagrin Falls. We bonded over our love for food, sports, teaching, and what we wanted our futures to look like; not having any idea it would be together with each other.

We were supposed to be going on a surprise date for Christmas. We went shopping in downtown Chagrin as part of my Christmas gift, and went to see the lights. While looking at the lights, Chandler got down on one knee. Surrounded by our family, who were hiding in the pavilion, I said YES. We celebrated at Burntwood Tavern in Chagrin Falls where we had our first date.
