Wedding Party

Meet the special people who will be part of our big day!

Christopher Rembisz

Best Man

Christopher is a great friend and close accountability partner from Harvest. Together, we've shared a couple Every Man a Warrior groups over the last 4 years and grown in our walks with Christ together. Chris and I have regular hangouts that involve stretching and getting in the Word or talking about a good book. I am honored to have Christopher stand as my best man!

Nick Friedrich

Groomsman

Nick has been a large part of my spiritual development over the last several years. He was my first leader in an Every Man a Warrior group and has mentored me through many good and not-so-good times. Nick and his family have been a huge blessing from the Lord to Sarah and I and I pray that our connection only grows stronger as Sarah and I look to raise a godly family in the near future.

Johnny Zimmer

Groomsman

Johnny has been a more recent part of my life. Our bond has really strengthened recently through the Every Man a Warrior groups. Johnny is a bold follower of Christ and definitely encourages me to see situations in the light of Christ. It is because of men like him that I know that our marriage will be Christ centered.

Nick Paul

Groomsman

Nick is a recent addition to the Lauch family. He married my sister, Jasmine, in October of 2019. Anyone that attended that wedding reception know that their marriage means a lot to me and I couldn't be happier to have a brother like Nick to stand by my side on my special day.

Matthew Myers

Groomsman

Matt oh Matt. Of all the guys standing up in the wedding, I have shared the most experiences with my best friend Matt. We have known each other since we were in preschool together at Plymouth Christian Academy. We really started becoming good friends after 6th grade. We've been together to see what life has thrown our way and I have been privileged to have somebody so close to talk to during those times.

Emily Beggs

Maid of Honor

Emily is the "middlest" of the Beggs sisters as she used to call herself, but there's nothing mediocre about her. She is the most loving, caring, joy-filled person I know, and so many are blessed by her friendship, especially me! Over the years our relationship has grown from just sisters to great friends, which is why I asked her to stand with me as my maid of honor! Emily and I push each other to grow as young women, as sisters, daughters, college students, and especially as followers of Jesus. I am honored to have an amazing sister like Emily!

Jenna Beggs

Bridesmaid

Jenna is my baby sister, my mini-me, my boo-boo, so watching her grow up and mature is bittersweet. Having her as my bridesmaid is a big step toward our adult relationship! Jenna is a silly, fun, thoughtful young lady, and I know she will bring so much excitement to my bridal party. She keeps lamenting that she won't be able to borrow my clothes when I move out, but I have a feeling she'll find a way to get ahold of them... I'll always her be her big sissy, but I hope that this transition will only make us closer!

Jasmine Paul

Bridesmaid

Not only did I win the jackpot with John, but I am so so blessed to be welcomed into the Lauch family, and to have Jasmine as one of my new sisters-in-law. I have looked up to Jasmine as a role model for much of my life, and we gradually became very close friends over the years. From the early days of dance class and to now, I always wanted to be like Jasmine in appearance, personality, and in the way she lives her life for Jesus. We both developed a passion for teaching children, so we both studied elementary education, and we've both held the position as the Harvest Children's Ministry Intern. These days we have the awesome opportunity to co-lead a discipleship small group called "Bridges" with one of our great friends, Sarah Orr. I know we will always continue in ministry together!

Bekah Richmond

Bridesmaid

Bekah is one of my dearest friends, and importantly, one of the members of my favorite group chat "Front Left". Along with Kayla, the three of us met at Upper Peninsula Bible Camp as casual camp friends and solidified our lasting friendship as roommates in the front left room of the girls' staff dorm in 2016. Outside of camp, we successfully made the "not just summer friends" shift, which has included 5-hour facetimes and a number of memorable trips between Detroit, Chicago, and Indiana. But truly, it’s thanks to Bekah that we have held on to such a strong friendship. Despite busy college days (and now career!) she is always checking in, reaching out, and staying connected. Bekah is one of the most determined, caring, and passionate people in my life, and I am so grateful for her.

Kayla Beckley

Bridesmaid

Kayla is the 3rd and final member of the front left trio, and I still remember the week we met at girls' camp when we were 13. I can't believe we're going on 10 years! Kayla came into my life when I needed someone in my corner, and she was that person for me at camp. Even in our later years of staff when we made so many more connections, we had to fall asleep talking about our thoughts at night because that's what you do with your person! My friendship with Kayla has expanded my world in so many amazing ways. Every train ride to Chicago and long drive to Holland has been worth it. They have kept us close in each other's lives in order to challenge, encourage, and pray for each other from afar. I am so blessed by her friendship

Alivia McCormick

Flower Girl

I have babysat/ nannied/ been Alivia's best friend since she was about 8 months old, and gotten to be a part of so many special times in her life! The hours we've spent together playing, reading, learning, crafting, swimming, biking, eating, and everything in between have been a blast, and it is my mission and promise that they won't stop just because I'm getting married! I have absolutely loved being apart of Alivia's life, and being so loved by the McCormick family. Having the opportunity to be brought in and see all the stages of Alivia's life has been instrumental to the teacher and mother I strive to be. It's important to note that even before I knew John was the one for me, I knew I wanted Alivia to be my flower girl one day!

Sarah Orr

Day of Coordinator

I am so excited that Sarah will be our day-of-wedding coordinator. Sarah has become a great friend through Harvest Bible Church and the many different groups and ministries we share. We were in an awesome Bible study together called Cultivating Holy Beauty last year, which grew us closer as we deepened our relationships with Jesus. Like Jasmine, we co-lead the Bridges discipleship small group, and we love serving together in the Children's Ministry! As fellow Eastern elementary educators, we share a passion for teaching kids, and I've gotten to observe Sarah teach in her public school classroom as well as in the church! I cannot wait to see how our friendship and ministries together continue in the years to come!
